Sweet Potato Toast
Raise your hands if you love carbs! If you don't, who are you? And whhhhyyyyyyy!!!!?????
I love me some carbs but not all the bloating etc. Plus I'm gluten free so I have to get a little creative with my carb choices. But don't worry, I know how to get them in ;)
Sweet potatoes are a great healthier carb option because they are a natural produce item (so it doesn't have any of the extra garbage that's usually found in processed breads) and they're LOADED with nutrients.
Sweet potatoes are an excellent beauty food because they are rich in Vitamin A (AKA Beta Carotene). Beta Carotene helps to reduce any dark pigmentation in your skin, like acne scars. I've struggled with pigmentation and incorporated more foods with Vitamin A, like sweet potatoes, and have definitely noticed a difference in my skin! It also helps brighten your skin up. So many benefits!
Here's how you make Sweet Potato Toast (Or you can just watch the video lol):
1. Wash your potatoes
2. Peel your potatoes
3. Slice your potatoes (do you love my direction giving skills???)
4. Pop them in a toaster oven (or microwave if you're like me and just don't have time) Usually takes about 3-4 minutes
5. Add any toppings you would with regular toast!
